Margit Reiser-Schober, President, DE, Frankfurt am Main

- Born 1957, married, one son. Works for and with the citizens of a small city near Frankfurt-am-Main. She studied administrative sciences in Konstanz and political science in Berlin. She has decades of experience in politics and has founded a reading club on political issues.
For the 2009 European election, she was coordinator and head-candidate in Germany.

Thijs de Wolff, General Secretary, NL, Den Haag

- Born in Den Haag, the Netherlands in 1985, educated as a generalist (mostly historian) in European integration (Masters, University of Leiden), nowadays self-employed as online communications manager. Hobbies include traveling and meeting new people, including trying to learn a bunch of extra languages. Joined AEGEE as a student (for 6 years) and Newropeans (since 2007) out of conviction that Europe has to be ’given’ a soul before the peoples that live in it can connect with it and appreciate it for its tremendous merits.

Christel Hahn, Chairwoman of the Agora (General assembly and e-Agora), DE, Konstanz

- Born 1952, lives close to Konstanz (Germany). Graduated in physics, Christel held various positions in software development until she left to study other non-technical subjects and to take care of her aged parents. Currently she earns her living in a restaurant job, translates and writes articles.
During the 2009 European election campaign she was a candidate for Newropeans in Germany.

Guillaume Médard, Treasurer, F, Munich

- Born in 1979, grew up in Nîmes and Montpellier and lives in Munich with his Greek wife. Researcher in chemical proteomics / medicinal chemistry at the Technical University Munich. For his studies and work, he has lived in Montpellier, Strasbourg, Reykjavik, Patras, London, Cambridge and Munich.

Daniel Pressi, F, Avrillé

- Born in 1937 - Has studied at Ecole Supérieure d’Approvisionnement - Paris and Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers – Paris. Created and directed for 30 years until his retirement the subsidiary of a german enterprise (from Baden-Württemberg) with ongoing relationships in current Euroland. Active member of the Lions Club International for 22 years. Newropeans candidate for France in the 2009 European elections. Much interest in geopolitical issues and international and European economic in particular.

- Taco lives in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). He is software developer and associate in a Consulting and Software Engineering company.

Wessel Reijers, NL, Twente

- Born 1989, he is a master student in philosophy at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. He has been involved in AEGEE for many years, as a local board member and as organizer of the Spring Agora Enschede 2012. He has been active in politics in D66 on the national level and in coordinating transnational political efforts as well. His main fields of interest are concerning the very nature of European integration. Why would we want European integration and especially: how would we like it to look like?

Pedro Ribeiro Simões, Pt, Brussels

- Born in Viseu, Portugal (1986) graduated in Political Science at the University Institute of Lisbon (2012) and at the LEAP Academy (class of 2011). Currently working in Brussels, his focus has been on European Institutions, Strategy Analysis, Foreign Policy and International Relations.

Manuel Rodriguez-Girones, ES, Berlin

- Born in Madrid (1971), studied Telecommunication Engineering in his hometown after a three-year stay in Paris. Before graduation he was off to Darmstadt, then to The Hague, and now lives in Potsdam. He works for the European Patent Office in Berlin, is married to a German and has four children. Despite the technical career, his interests concern rather more humanistic subjects like history, economics and thus necessarily politics.
